Posting
What can I post on RevealRed?
You can share factual experiences about companies, apps, services, or employers — for example workplace issues, scams, misleading hiring, or poor treatment. Focus on what happened, when, and what evidence you have. Honest, specific stories help others avoid the same harm.
How do I create a post?
Use Post experience from the home page or menu. You will choose a company (or add one), a category, a rating, and optional links or attachments. You can post while signed in or as a guest, depending on what the product allows for your session.
Can I attach proof?
Yes, where the product supports uploads. Images, PDFs, and similar files can strengthen your report. Only upload material you have the right to share, and avoid including other people’s private data unless necessary and lawful.
Anonymity
What does "post anonymously" mean here?
When you post anonymously, other users and the public do not see your name or profile on that post. The site is built so anonymous posts are not tied to your public identity in the normal feed, post page, or APIs.
Is anonymity absolute?
No — and we want to be upfront about that. For most day-to-day use, anonymous posts hide your name from the public, but no website can promise anonymity in every situation.
For example, details in your story (dates, names, rare circumstances) might still let someone guess who you are. Behind the scenes we keep what we need to run the service safely; if we receive a lawful demand where the law requires us to identify an account or tie content to a person, we may not be able to refuse. In rare cases, a serious security incident or attack could also expose data we work hard to protect — we do our best to prevent that, but we cannot guarantee it will never happen.
The fuller picture is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Can RevealRed reveal identity on anonymous posts if authorities ask?
Yes — if we receive a valid legal demand (for example a court order, subpoena, or lawful request from a competent law-enforcement or regulatory authority), we may be required by law to identify the account behind content, including anonymous posts.
In such situations, we aim to disclose only the information reasonably necessary for legal compliance.
If I am logged in and post anonymously, can I still manage my post?
Yes. When you are signed in, you can still access your anonymous posts from your account (for example My posts) and use author-only actions the app provides, without exposing your identity on the public post.
Accounts
Why create an account?
Signing in with Google lets you manage your posts, comment with optional identity, vote (where enabled), and set your location for features that match you with resolvers. Resolvers use a separate professional flow.
How does sign-in work?
RevealRed uses Google sign-in only — there is no separate password on our side. Use the same Google account on any device; we use the email from your Google account for notices as described in our Privacy Policy.
Resolvers & billing
What is a Resolver?
Resolvers are professionals on the platform who can apply to help on posts (for example legal, HR, or domain experts, subject to verification rules). Authors choose whether to engage.
How do credits and billing work?
Resolvers use credits to apply on posts (each application uses 5 credits). New resolvers receive starter credits when they complete signup. You can check your balance on Resolver credits. Buying extra credits may be added later; it isn't available yet.
Report content
How do I report harmful or false content?
Use Contact us and reference a safety or abuse report in your message. Include the full URL of the post or comment, a short description of the problem, and why you believe it violates guidelines or the law. We take targeted harassment, threats, and clear defamation seriously.
When will I hear back?
We aim to reply to most support messages within one to two business days. Complex or legal matters can take longer. Safety reports are prioritized when they indicate ongoing harm.
